Privacy Policy

This policy explains what QuickRoofAssess (“we”) collects when you use quickroofassess.com, why, and who sees it. In short: we use your answers to write your report, and roofers only get your details when you send your report to them.

What we collect

• Your answers and photos: what you see on the roof, roof age and type, recent weather, your ZIP code, and up to 4 photos if you add them.
• Contact details: first name and email; phone and street address only if you give them (the phone is needed to get quotes).
• Technical data: IP address and browser type, used for spam protection and a rough location (town) from our network provider. Visits are counted without cookies; the visitor id changes every day and can’t be turned back into an IP address.
• Where you came from: the page you landed on, the referring site and campaign tags (such as utm_source), so we know which pages help homeowners.

How we use it

• To write your report. Your answers and photos are sent to an AI model (from Anthropic or OpenAI) that writes the report for us. They process it on our behalf and not to advertise to you.
• To keep your assessment. Your assessment is stored in the system we use to run the site (withConflux), so we can help if you call us.
• To get you quotes, only if you ask. When you choose “Send my report”, your name, phone, ZIP code, address (if given), the report and your photos go to the roofers you picked (at most 3), listed on Roofers Directory. Nobody else gets them.
• To confirm your phone by text message (Twilio) before a quote request, when that check is on.
• To stop spam (Cloudflare Turnstile) and to answer chat questions (HolaOra chat).

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

Our own visit counting uses no cookies. If enabled, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set their own cookies to measure how the site is used. Your report is kept in your browser tab (session storage) and is gone when you close it.

How long we keep it

We keep assessments for up to 3 years, then delete them. Roofers you sent your report to keep their copy under their own policies.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop using it, by calling (347) 282-1041 or through our contact page. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have these rights by law; we give them to everyone.

Children

The site is for homeowners and is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
